Our Five Areas of Purpose             worship      fellowship     discipleship      ministry      missions

Fellowship - "As I have loved you, so you must love one another."
We bring God glory by loving other believers.

Cherry Grove Church distributed bottled water to spectators at the
Anderson Township Parade.

The second area of purpose that we hold true is Fellowship. We believe that church is community and that we grow in Christ's love by being in fellowship with others where we can express that love to other people.

Fellowship does not just mean coffee and conversation on Sunday morning. Fellowship at Cherry Grove means building  and strengthening relationships with others and with Jesus Christ.  We offer many small group opportunities, study groups, Christian Education classes and other opportunities for you to grow in Christ's love in the presence of others. We invite you to be in fellowship with our family of faith.

IMPACT  (IMagine the Power of Acting with Christ Today)  As we manage the responsibilities of our families, careers, homes, and finances, it is easy to neglect our own social and spiritual needs. We may not have the opportunity to grow and strengthen friendships, especially those that are formed at church. We attend services, fellowship briefly with each other, and then return to our fast-paced lives. Because of this, IMPACT was formed. This group provides opportunities to: 1) re-kindle old friendships, 2) make new friends, 3) share an evening "out on the town," 4) share in devotional experiences, and 5) serve on mission/outreach projects. Watch the Cherry Tree newsletter for upcoming IMPACT events, and join in the fun!.

Ladies Night Out  Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant on the third Thursday of every month for fellowship, fun and good food!  This is a great way to get to know one another and stay connected with other women in the church.  Reservations are required so be sure to sign up.  For more details contact Betty F.

Fellowship is interwoven with all our areas of purpose!  Webster defines fellowship as companionship, community of interest, activity, feeling, or experience.  Christians side-by-side in mission work, Bible study, and worship with others are sure to experience a sense of fellowship!
