We bring God glory by becoming like Christ.
The third area of purpose that we hold true is Discipleship. We believe that becoming more like Christ means being on a journey toward learning, understanding and knowledge of our faith.
Sunday Morning Discipleship Opportunities - There are numerous ways that you can advance your study of God's word or further your journey with Him. We are excited about the opportunities for discipleship at Cherry Grove and invite you to call the church office for more information about ways to participate!
Spiritual Growth Through Study — One way Cherry Grove UMC fulfills our mission of connecting is by offering a variety of small group studies. These studies help members to:
• Deepen their faith through prayer and learning
• Increase their knowledge and appreciation of the Bible
• Make new friends and get to know old friends more intimately
• Have increased incentive to study, read the Bible, and meditate every day
Confirmation Class – Confirmation classes are offered to youth in the 7th grade through 12th grade who wish to grow in their relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Participants are invited to prepare to become professing members of the congregation. For information contact the Pastor.
